Nursery forum today

Immediately following the grower event yesterday, a joint KVH and Zespri Kiwifruit Plant Nursery Forum got underway.

Run annually, the event focuses on updates about standards, compliance, traceability, and aspects of the kiwifruit nursery supply chain. Presentations included an update on the new Pathway Management Plan; the Kiwifruit Breeding Centre; and New Zealand Plant Producers Incorporated (NZPPI) – the industry body for plant nurseries.

The forum is popular every year and provides a great opportunity for nurseries to come together and network, share information, and openly discuss everything from audits to budwood supply.
