Psa regional maps
The NPMP commenced in 2013 for a 10 year term and will be rescinded in May 2023. The new Pathway Management Plan comes into effect from 1 April 2022 and after a one year overlap will replace the NPMP. Read more here.
Under the National Psa-V Pest Management Plan (NPMP), growing regions are classified as Exclusion, Containment or Recovery, based on the level of Psa infection. Boundaries for each region are listed below.
Exclusion regions either have no Psa-V identified, or Psa-V has recently been identified for the first time.
A recovery region is where Psa-V is already widespread. Effective Monday 16 July 2018 KVH revoked boundaries within Recovery regions, creating one Recovery region with separate geographic locations across the North Island.
