Tickets are still available for the Young Grower of the Year finals which are being held on Wednesday 4 October and Thursday 5 October in Pukekohe.
The two-day event puts regional finalists to the test as they rotate their way through business and practical activities. KVH will be there, taking part with a series of biosecurity questions for contestants to demonstrate their knowledge of the importance of biosecurity and the practical role they play every day in protecting their own crops and orchard borders.
Many of you will know of Sydney Hines from Sybton Horticulture, who will be taking part as Bay of Plenty’s Young Grower of the Year. Good luck Sydney!

KVH investigates reports of unusual symptoms to identify and manage any biosecurity risks.
