Whangarei Regional Update

Last week KVH completed a second round of monitoring in the Whangarei region – covering 16A blocks in the controlled area and the orchards closest to the first positive orchard.

No further Psa symptoms were identified. The controlled area remains in place restricting movement of plant material, beehives and contractor’s equipment. The Controlled Area Notice can be viewed here. Growers within the controlled areas are required to monitor their orchards fortnightly until further notice and report their results to KVH.
