Psa-V best practice

KVH's Psa Best Practice Guide provides year-round guidance for protecting and managing your orchard in a Psa environment. It includes the latest best-practice advice based on scientific research and on-orchard experience. It also includes updated label rates and use conditions for Psa protectant products.

There is also a seasonal wall chart poster available for downloading and printing.

Psa-V assessment and management

A series of resources have been created to support growers, managers and post-harvest gain a greater understanding of Psa management activities on-orchard, and share practical knowledge with their teams.

Including both video and print, these resources have been created through the Cut It Out project (funded by KVH and Zespri), which surveyed growers from all growing regions to find out more about what they do in regards to Psa cut out and gain industry insight into what growers do to help manage Psa.

The resources are easy-to-follow and thought provoking when used to develop Psa disease management programmes.

Spotlight on Psa-V

Are you maximising your Psa programme's potential? The GoldFutures project compared a set of Gold3 Psa-managed to Gold3 Psa-challenged blocks over a four-year period. The work showed that an optomised and proactive Psa management programme can make a significant difference in Orchard Gate Return (OGR).
