There’s a brand-new quick and fun BMSB out now thanks to the Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital (TMBC) team, who are offering loads of great prizes every week throughout September – all you have to do is answer six easy questions about what this unwanted bug could do if it hitchhiked its way into New Zealand and on to our orchards, how to identify it, and how to report it. You, the kids, friends, and family can all take part – see who gets the highest score, and don’t forget to fill in your contact details in case you’re a prize winner.

The quiz is part of TMBC’s public awareness campaign for this spring/summer, which also includes the giant BMSB banner on the grain silo in Mount Maunganui on Hewletts Road (you may have seen it last summer) and various regional Biosecurity Week activities, including a joint KVH/Zespri kiwifruit grower day.
