The Annual World BioProtection Summit and Awards were held late May in the UK, to address the pressing need to develop alternatives to chemical crop protection in sustainable food production.

AureoGold was a winner on the night, taking away the ‘industry collaboration’ award, recognising the partnership between UPL, Plant & Food Research (PFR), Zespri, and KVH.

This successful partnership is of huge value to the kiwifruit industry and is an example of the great outcomes that come from collaboration across science, industry, and commercial organisations, particularly in relation to ongoing Psa work.

Having such recognition on an international stage is a credit to all and will aid in further attention and investment in both AureoGold and other related technology-based biocontrol products that contribute to ongoing management of Psa and support sustainable growth of the kiwifruit industry.
