Biosecurity 2025 - have your say

11 August 2016

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is holding six hui and public meetings around the country during August and September so New Zealanders can have their say and help influence the government on biosecurity. This follows the release of MPI’s ‘Biosecurity 2025’ discussion document in late July.

At the meetings participants will be asked their views about how all New Zealanders can work together to keep New Zealand free from pests and diseases. Feedback from these meetings will contribute to the drafting of a Direction Statement which will inform New Zealand’s future biosecurity strategy. KVH will also hold a meeting with MPI, key industry leaders and biosecurity contributors to develop a submission on behalf of the kiwifruit industry. This meeting will be held on Monday 22 August from 10am to 12pm. If you are interested in attending the industry meeting, please contact KVH on 0800 665 825 or email [email protected] for more details.
