Neonectria microconidia was first detected in Kerikeri but has become an increasingly common disease among South Island kiwifruit orchards.
An evaluation survey was undertaken in Motueka to understand whether environmental factors influenced disease progression/development and whether certain management practices could be implemented to reduce the impact of Neonectria.
