Fun Fact

If you’re not a fan of creepy crawlies this image of a great big stink bug isn’t for you!

Two students from the University of Canterbury have spent their summer developing and 3D printing a model Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB), obviously not to scale – they’re normally the size of a 10cent coin at their largest.

The aim is to raise awareness of this potential invader, and will be used in public awareness programmes, community events and field days.

The students are part of the Better Border Biosecurity (B3) summer programme, supported by the BMSB Council of which KVH is a member.
