Seen something unusual? MAKE A REPORT
KVH also attended the annual Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital (TMBC) conference this week, celebrating latest developments and trends in pest and disease management and enhancing our relationships with others involved in biosecurity in the Bay of Plenty.
KVH staff presented on their work, and ran an interactive general biosecurity knowledge quiz, testing those in the room on best practices and how to report the unusual.
Having networks across the biosecurity space in the region allows for a great deal of information sharing and helps keep us abreast of any potential changes/additions to biosecurity risk for kiwifruit growers, as well as allowing us input into wider biosecurity management activities, particularly at higher risk sites like ports and transitional facilities.
KVH investigates reports of unusual symptoms to identify and manage any biosecurity risks.
The KVH portal is now the Zespri Weather & Disease Portal. Access all the weather tools you're familiar with.
