KVH presenting at national stink bug meeting

There’s a Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) Symposium coming up, and it is open to anyone interested in attending.

Taking place Monday 9 August in Napier, the event is a great opportunity to bring together and connect those interested in BMSB research, share ideas, and ultimately help to better prepare New Zealand for this unwanted pest.

KVH and Zespri will be presenting on the day with a focus on the BMSB research undertaken through the Innovation Research Portfolio and our experiences of BMSB in kiwifruit in the northern hemisphere.

There will also be international updates from leading researchers in Italy and the USA, both countries heavily affected by the impacts of BMSB.

For more information about registering and the full agenda, see here. If you’re unable to attend this event but are interested in the presentations, be sure to come along to our Kiwifruit Grower Biosecurity Day during Biosecurity Week (Thursday 2 September) as we will include an update from the Symposium there.
