Learn to Find-A-Pest

Find-A-Pest is the latest tool in the fight against pests. It’s a free app that enables you to recognise and record potential biosecurity threats on your orchard or in public spaces – basically anywhere you take your phone.

You’re invited to join a free workshop during Biosecurity Week to find out more about what Find-A-Pest is, how it works, how it can benefit you, the kiwifruit industry and community and how reports made are shared by KVH and biosecurity agencies.

This workshop will include time to become familiar with the app and making observations. Light refreshments are included.

If you’re unable to make this event don’t worry, the Find-A-Pest team will also be at the Kiwifruit Grower Biosecurity Day.

Where: Bay of Plenty Regional Council office, Elizabeth Street, Tauranga
When: Wednesday 1 September, 9.00am – 11.00am
RSVP: Online
