Seen something unusual? MAKE A REPORT
Next in our series of team member introductions is Lisa Gibbison, our Communications Manager, creator of many of the resources and pieces of information we share with you.
We’re just over halfway through introducing the team to you and highlighting our day-to-day activities.
I joined the organisation in March 2017, managing corporate and stakeholder engagement for the team and the KVH Board.
My role involves working with growers, post-harvest facilities, central government, and everyone within the growing community and supply chain to ensure we’re collaborating, sharing information, and supporting each other – especially in times of need like a serious biosecurity response or significant adverse event.
My background is mostly within central government and the public sector in Wellington, and I was part of the government’s response team during the Psa outbreak in late 2010.
Outside of work I’m either relaxing with a good book and coffee, or jogging. I’ve done a few marathons and my favourite was New York which always surprises people, and horrifies many, because why would you do that to yourself, right?
It’s really enjoyable helping people connect and share information in creative and useful ways - making it easier for you to do the things you’re good at, every day, with KVH support alongside you.
KVH investigates reports of unusual symptoms to identify and manage any biosecurity risks.
The KVH portal is now the Zespri Weather & Disease Portal. Access all the weather tools you're familiar with.
