KVH is excited to have new Chief Executive Leanne Stewart in the team.

Leanne joined us last week and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in management of biosecurity risks, having worked in plant health for government, international and industry organisations.

Prior to taking up the new role Leanne was the Deputy Chief Executive at Horticulture New Zealand and General Manager Process Vegetables New Zealand. She has also had previous roles at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) working in the import regulatory space and the International Plant Protection Convention in Rome.

The focus for Leanne now that she’s in the hot seat is to get out-and-about meeting growers and industry people, which she started last week and will continue with at upcoming events like the Mystery Creek Fieldays, industry AGMs and next Zespri grower roadshows.
