Researcher presentation on one of our biggest threats

You are welcome to attend an open presentation on Ceratocystis from Professor Irene Barnes, a researcher at the Forest and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute (FABI) at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Professor Barnes is a Ceratocystis expert and will be in New Zealand to present at the International Congress on Biological Invasions. She has a particular research focus on the invasiveness and movement of fungal pathogens on a global scale and while she is here, we have secured the opportunity to share in her knowledge of the biosecurity threat posed by Ceratocystis, and what they have learnt from dealing with it in South Africa.
