NZ Post is highlighting New Zealand’s biosecurity system in a special stamp release out now.

From our borders to our backyards, the Biosecurity Protection stamps each share key messages and symbols about protecting our ecosystem and way of life. These include declaring high-risk items at the border to prevent pests and diseases from entering the country, reporting suspected new organisms, and cleaning marine equipment to protect our waters.

Biosecurity New Zealand worked closely with NZ Post to develop the collection, which includes a collectable card and five usable postage stamps.
