Stink bugs stopped

Latest data shows there have been 12 live Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs (BMSB) detected recently, both border and post-border, in a range of goods, equipment, and cargo.

The new KVH risk update for BMSB is out now and covers the formal reporting period of 20 October – 16 November.

Highlighting the importance and value of public reporting after travelling or unpacking international goods, one BMSB was found in the luggage of a passenger unpacking after flying in from New York; another was found in a travellers home a week after returning from Italy; and a Wellington homeowner found one in a package received from Colorado.
