Weather & Disease Portal show and tell

Not quite sure you’re making the most of the online Weather & Disease Portal? Or never even logged in? We break down the basics in our new three-minute video.

If you’ve never used it before, the Weather & Disease Portal is a weather-based decision support system to assist growers with orchard management, particularly in a Psa environment.

It’s supported by HortPlus and Metwatch so that weather station data and forecast information is combined to provide customised weather and disease information, and interpretations.

Also, you can receive a daily email report for weather and Psa risk information. These reports are tailored for kiwifruit growers and come in a convenient PDF format (view a sample here) that you can forward to your team members, view on your phone, or print. You can choose what time and day you get the reports, and for which locations.
