Seen something unusual? MAKE A REPORT
The Puketapu weather station in the Hawke’s Bay is back up and running after an upgrade and full service (as mentioned in the last Bulletin). All data is missing for the period Wednesday 19 May to Wednesday 28 June.
The Whanganui weather station is also now working perfectly again after short periods of interrupted data were noted between Sunday 27 June and Thursday 1 July. Missing data may result in a slight undercalculation (of around 12 chill units) across this period for chill unit calculations with a base threshold of 7 degrees C. No impacts would be seen in chill units calculated via the Richardson chill units calculator.
We apologise for the temporary interruptions to both these stations.
