Welcome to the new year

Whether you’re back in the thick of it or still enjoying an extended break, taking advantage of the beautiful weather, we hope you all had a merry Christmas and were able to enjoy the holiday season with family and friends.

We look forward to working with you throughout the year to ensure our biosecurity system remains strong and we continue to keep damaging pests and diseases from reaching our orchards.

Now that the KVH office is open again after the Christmas break, please be aware we have COVID-19 protocols in place that align with Ministry of Health guidance, our landlord, and others using shared spaces within the building. All staff and visitors (including contractors and growers) wishing to be on-site will be asked to show their vaccination status and demonstrate they are fully vaccinated. Those not fully vaccinated or not prepared to disclose their vaccination status will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test (RAT) within the last 24 hours to gain entry.

The KVH office will remain open under the green and orange traffic light settings, but will be closed with staff working remotely under red.
